It is all about the personalized — and the personal, commented Haute Papier's Sarah Meyer Walsh. "We're also seeing couples setting themselves apart — and their guests' experience apart — by adding super personal touches to their wedding paperie. One couple wrote a personal welcome note to every single guest, which also served as their reception place cards." What's Hot: Dark moody florals, hand-lettering, a blending of colors in one palette, like a mix or blues or neutrals. "From ink colors to the paper color choices, blending color allows for a creative design while staying traditional," said Haute Papier's Erin Miller. Also look for: a blend of navy with blushes and pale pinks. Tried and True: Personalized wedding crests. "It adds so much personality and it can really tie a whole wedding suite together," described Rachel Quinn, graphic designer, PrintsWell. Meanwhile, foil stamping and letterpress continue to edge out traditional engraving, while the couple's name in calligraphy gives it a pop from the rest of the Roman wedding suite. Whether it's a family crest or pops of a favorite color, there's usually something speaking to them that we like to pull throughout the wedding suite. We also find so much inspiration in interior design … textiles, rugs, ceramics.
